JOAN PASION

Professional dance educator, choreographer and administrator Joan Pasion uses dance to promote mental health, passion for the arts and community. The Sacramento native graduated Cum Laude with a BFA in Dance from San José State University, training in Ballet, Hip-Hop, Lyrical, Jazz, Modern, and Contemporary. Pasion's teaching spans all ages and levels—from toddlers to adults. Currently, she is a professional Modern-Contemporary and Vertical Dance performer with TwoPoint4 Dance Theatre in Sacramento, as well as an Outreach Teacher Artist across multiple school districts, bringing dance into classrooms from TK through 12th grade. Pasion also serves as an Adjudicator for Team Dance Competition (Las Vegas), an Instructor at Sacramento Ballet and Precision Dance Center (Roseville), and a Teaching Artist/Choreographer with NorCal School of the Arts and E. Claire Raley Studios for the Performing Arts (Sacramento).
